This contest isn’t just about pageantry—it’s a launchpad for your future.
You’ll walk away with real-world tools: refined interview skills, public speaking confidence, and the kind of poise that turns heads in a boardroom as easily as on a stage. Along the way, you'll build lasting friendships with other driven, community-minded young women—and gain the confidence to lead wherever life takes you.

Are you Eligible? Let’s Find Out.
Are you 18 to 22 years old by June 1, 2026? If so, you could be the next Miss Boone County! You don’t need to live in Boone County, but you must be an active or former Boone County 4-H member with at least four completed 4-H projects to your name. Plus, you should be involved in a community organization because we value leaders who give back!

Beyond the Crown

It’s More Than a Title - It’s a Foundation for Life.

The Miss Boone County Fair Queen Program helps young women discover what they’re capable of. From commanding interviews to representing their community with grace, our contestants leave prepared to lead in any arena—professional, academic, or civic.

Alumni of our program have gone on to become nonprofit founders, state-level advocates, business leaders, and mentors. What begins as a fairground tradition becomes a lifelong advantage built on hard work, confidence, and purpose.

Celebrating 66 Years of Tradition and Leadership

The Miss Boone County Fair Queen Contest isn’t just another competition – it’s a legacy of leadership, personal growth, and community involvement that has spanned 66 remarkable years. Since its inception, this contest has helped shape young women into confident, capable leaders, both in Boone County and beyond.

With a proud history that includes two Miss Indiana State Fair Queens, several state finalists, and multiple runner-up title holders, our program stands out. But the true success of our contestants doesn’t stop at the county and state fair level. Many participants have gone on to become influential community leaders, successful professionals, and inspiring role models who make a real difference in the world around them.
